Project Description

BMW Manufacturing employs more than 5,000 people to produce the X5 Sports Activity Vehicle and X6 Sports Activity Coupe in Greer, SC. The 1,150-acre campus generates its own power on-site, offers fully equipped medical facilities including an on-site pharmacy and provides 24-hour security and firefighting personnel. To date, BMW has invested $4.2 billion in its South Carolina operations, including a $750 million investment to build a new 1.2-million-square-foot Assembly facility adjacent to the original factory to produce the next generation BMW X3 Sports Activity Vehicle
